If you're going to rent a bounce house/bouncy castle/moon bounce/inflatable castle (whew there are a lot of terms!) for your outdoor reception, you'll need to make sure rowdy guests don't go too wild in there. Having some well-explained and humorous bounce house rules on hand should ensure that you don't have to pay any repair fees when it goes back.
Heather and Macca had this funny sign drawn up for their bounce house rules including, “thou shalt smile and laugh while on the bouncy castle” and, “thou shalt embrace your inner child.” So while they laid down the law on the no shoes, no food rules, they also kept it light and funny. Food for thought. Just don't take that food into the bouncy castle, amirite?
Shall we spy more of this bounce house rules wedding?
Are YOU having a bounce house at your reception? What term do you use for it, anyway?
Also had a bouncy house at my wedding! I would add a person limit. I think ours was 3 adults at a time or 5-6 kids. But not 3 adults AND 6 kids at a time!
They’re awesome. And they keep kids out of grown-ups hair, especially since it acts as an inflatable cage and one parent can keep an eye on a whole pack of kids and parents can rotate through to adult activities!
