Emily and Rodney had a vintage-inspired wedding in Michigan with fall colors, tattoos, Princess Bride and Harry Potter cameos, and woodworking details. Emily is a woodworker and made the inlay for Rodney's ring. She and her grandfather own a woodworking business so they were able to make most of the decor together.
Her uncle officiated the wedding, starting off with a homage to The Princess Bride, which had everyone laughing. She had some Harry Potter-inspired vows which made everyone sob.
From the bride:
“We had vintage-style wedding with antique amber glassware, a lace wrap dress, and my grandmother's pearls. There was a handmade ring, light-up marquee letters, and a donut stand. It was basically everything you would get when a tattooed woodworker marries a country boy.”
