Rhode Tripper Photography
Hey, friends! I'm Meaghan D'Abrosca (she/her) – owner and leading lady of Rhode Tripper Photography – an alternative wedding and elopement photography company specializing in hybrid digital, Polaroid and film photography. I'm your friendly neighborhood queer wedding photographer who is a self-identified serial wedding professional having worked as a bridal stylist, wedding coordinator, and now a wedding photographer. I just can't get enough of weddings, and I want to help you have the most perfect day ever! All wedding and elopement photography coverage also includes my trusty partner in crime (and husband), Evan (he/him) as your second photographer. We love to really get to know our couples and become best friends in the process so let's grab a drink or some bites in Providence and get to it!
Our photography is offbeat just like your wedding. It leans towards the filmier, moodier side of photography with an emphasis on creative lighting, rich colors, and vintage vibes. The best part about working with us though? You will get to have your most insanely epic, unique, quirky wedding day and actually enjoy it while we capture the moments, and later, you'll get to look back at your photos and see exactly how the story of your day unfolded in all its offbeat glory!
How I cater to offbeat weddings
At RTP, we practice inclusivity and anti-racism. We welcome and celebrate people of all sizes, races, sexualities, genders, ages, and religions with a big consensual bear hug. We believe that you deserve to have a wedding or elopement experience that is reflective of and celebrates you as a unique and beautiful people and your love in all forms!
Though we’re no wedding planners, we want to hear about all of your wild and crazy wedding ideas and hype you up as you make them become a reality. We’ll give you personal vendor recs that meet all your needs – vegan desserts? queer florist? Pagan stationery? We’ve gotchu, lovers! And we’ll get to know you along the way so that when we show up on your wedding day, you don’t feel like you have two strangers following you around all day but rather two besties who understand, adore, and just so happen to photograph your offbeat wedding!
"We were looking for a photographer that hit a lot of buckets: LGBTQ friendly (it's one thing to be inclusive, it's another to go above and beyond inclusivity - and RTP is just that), *gets the vibe*, reasonably priced, shoots film + digital, and a team we felt we could be our authentic selves and comfortable around."
