How I cater to offbeat weddings

Traditional wedding cursive and round hand calligraphy are for traditional weddings. Shouldn’t an offbeat wedding have offbeat lettering?

Offbeat weddings create a mood of their own and my quirky hand-lettering can help create that mood.

I model lettering on the titles of old pulp novels, movie posters, mid-century packaging and more, looking for type where the letters overlap in a way that a font can’t. I’ve been a designer for more than 25 years, working on album covers to live comedy posters, but I make time to design for normal everyday people whenever I can.

Dyna's lettering is ceaselessly vibrant, exuberant, delightful and unique. Always grounded in art history, she gives words real meaning as well as legibility.
