Hello, my name is Katy. I'm the owner and operator of Klein Photography NW.  Most of the time you'll find me with my dog and partner exploring the PNW and West Coast. Any place with amazing food and music will pull me in for hours. I love supporting and promoting local businesses whenever I can; especially restaurants as I am a true foodie at heart.

To create the best experience for my clients, I bring a light-hearted energy while providing quality photography so we can all have fun together. Photography has been my passion for over 20 years and has been my main focus for the last decade.  My career has spanned many categories in the service industry over the last 20 years including coordination, floral, bakery, design and more! How I cater to offbeat weddings

The LGBTQ+ community is strong in Bellingham, WA where I currently reside. As an event photographer, I strive to support this community and help it thrive with love and compassion. Off Beat Weddings is a great way to connect and communicate with the best clients and I’m grateful that this platform can help us find each other.  

In order for you to look your best and love your wedding photos, I provide simple direction and clear communication throughout our time together. You don’t need to know how to model or ‘work the camera’. I will assist you in all posing and movement to ensure your comfort and ease. My style is a mix of creative, classic and candid so you can look back on your event with fondness and joy for years to come.
