Hi, I’m the heart (and root!) behind Heart &amp; Root Photography! As a woman of color running a small business, I feel so grateful every day to call this passion my career. For over 10 years, I’ve been capturing love stories of all shapes, sizes, and quirks—and let me tell you, hearing how my clients met <em>still</em> gives me happy chills every time.

My approach is all about capturing <em>your</em> love, your way. Posing isn’t just about looking picture-perfect—it’s about holding that hug just a little longer, looking into each other’s eyes like it’s the first time all over again, or sharing a laugh over that one story that’ll always make you smile.

I combine technical precision with heartfelt storytelling to create photos that truly represent your connection. And let’s be real—we’re going to have a blast doing it. Whether it’s the quiet moments or the big belly laughs, I’ll be there to capture the magic of your day from start to finish.
