Apple Reese

My career journey has had many branches, but my unique and international experience has given me a deep appreciation for world cultures and the beautiful people that come from them.
I grew up in Germany, fell in love with theater at an early age, graduated from one of the top theater schools in the country, and then hit the road to teach theater and English overseas. While traveling I was moved by the cultures, the food, the architecture, and the people that I encountered. This multi-cultural appreciation is a strong building block of my dedication to diversity and acceptance.
With my head in the clouds, I returned home to attend grad school to gain what I lacked. When I finished my Masters, I was well immersed in the arts admin world and worked at a variety of arts organizations. My hardworking spirit brought me to volunteer at a local arts festival in the community and have since organized over 75 community events.
Having a child did not slow me down, in 2018 I added "entrepreneur" to my resume. Along with my creative husband, we created an innovative tabletop gaming retreat. Now I get to greet travelers that come from all over to game in my creative establishment.
My personal life compass points me to always keep creating. Only through creation will we ever eradicate prejudice, violence, and war.
