Tasha and Priscilla rocked a super sweet, small, and DIYed wedding in upstate New York. They said that they were “kind of winging this whole ‘wedding' since it's basically just a party after we elope in the woods in upstate NY.” That's one of my favorite kinds of parties!
Priscilla, her aunt, and her mom got ready at an AirBnb and they had all made prayer flags for Priscilla's dad who passed away fighting in the war years ago. Just the three of them did an unveiling of the flags outside and it was a lovely moment.
Their first look was on a dirt road after which they read their vows to each other while no one else was around. They then had a ceremony officiated by Priscilla's friend surrounded by about 15 of their closest friends and family.
Afterwards, Tasha gave Priscilla a shadow box with a portrait of Priscilla's father and some of the medals he had earned during his time fighting. It was so sweet and was the perfect start to a night of tacos and dancing. You'll want to see this one…
