Queer Woodland Dungeons and Dragons Camping Trip Wedding
Rad and I met at probably the least romantic environment possible – working at the county Coroner’s office when we were both death investigators. After about a year of scene responses and autopsies (super romantic, I know), we were dating. From the beginning of our relationship, Rad was adamant that we would be getting married at some point in the future, turns out he was right!
A queer camp-themed wedding with a mom bar and banjos
Let’s runaway to this woodsy camp-themed wedding! Ben and Charlie struck the perfect balance of rustic and refined – camp themed, but not campy, if you know what we mean. From their handmade decorations, to their photos by the lake (captured by Kristen Renee Photography), to their adorable wedding favors, this wedding is full of inspo for our tree-hugging readers.
This Lord of the Rings wedding in a greenhouse is subtly nerdy
Gray and Samantha’s Lord of the Rings wedding in a greenhouse is just what the doctor ordered – a bit of greenery, a dash of magic, and a whole lot of queer love! We absolutely love this wedding for its subtle nerdiness and its earthy aesthetic – in part thanks to the greenhouse it took place in, in part because of its DIYed decor that you have to see to believe.
This dark gothic wedding is everything you’d want from a funeral director’s big day
This dark gothic wedding was full of black, gold, purple – and lots of love. Can you believe the marrier was nervous their partner wouldn’t go for the dark aesthetic? They went all in, and rocked the purple suit too! The marrier had family that did not understand the need to have a black wedding dress or a moody wedding vibe, but in the end, they thought everything was just perfect.
