A magical frozen waterfall engagement shoot in the Poconos
September and Tulia braved the cold and icy landscapes to have their engagement photos captured in a truly magical winter setting. they started their woolie-clad hike at an incredible frozen waterfall in the Poconos in Pennsylvania and ended in a forest for more adorable shots. Engagement photos don’t have to take place in the spring and summer. Winter engagement photos are some of our very favorites AND they got to rock adorable beanies. Bonus. Let’s peek at these two engaged cuties…
A Star Wars meets A Christmas Carol queer disabled multi-state wedding (in a blizzard!)
When we started planning our wedding, we quickly realized that since our families were separated by many states (I was raised in the midwest, he's from Virginia), it was going to be a logistical nightmare for us to get everyone together in one spot, so we decided to honor both sides of our family by coming to them. So we planned two weddings, one in VA and another celebration in IL.
Leather, cigars, & Samoyeds at this burly bearded couple’s winter in Maine wedding inspiration
Brant and Erik have been together for eight years and are engaged but didn’t have time for a wedding at the moment due to Brant opening a confection restaurant/bar(!). So they had this amazing photo shoot with their dogs featuring leather details, cast iron, wood beams, and cigars, all set within deep pink florals and rustic greenery. Don’t miss the epic floof on those two Samoyed pups and the cake cut with an ax!
17 winter wedding headpieces & veils to transform you into a snow queen
Winter weddings are, in my opinion, the unsung heroes of the wedding world, especially when it comes to fashion. I mean, is there anything more lovely than a wedding portrait in the snow?! So gorg. And when you’re hauling your butt out into said snow, you might want a matching winter wedding headpiece, veil, crown, or even a woolly hat to match. I did some digging to find snowflakes, crystals, juniper, and more in hats, crowns, headpieces, and veils to adorn your wintry noggin.
