An elegantly goth Friday the 13th wedding with hints of Tim Burton
Our wedding was a blend of a whole lot of fall, Halloween, goth, Tim Burton-like elements that all worked together in a surprisingly elegant way. We incorporated as much of our ancestral history as we could. We had photos of our passed relatives at both the ceremony and our reception. I wore the bracelet of Daniel's grandmother, I slipped her wedding ring onto my handkerchief, and I read my vows from a bound volume of the poetry written by Daniel's grandfather. It was important to us to share our roots with each other and our families and friends as we became one.

Tracy and Ben’s Tim Burton-inspired wedding was an amazing reflection of an aesthetic they love. Plus, there were hints of Star Wars and comic books, too. They got married at a private barn in Pipersville, PA that had rustic charm for days and plays host to art shows. Tracy DIYed all of the decorations including the very fun and geeky terrariums.
All of the groom’s side of the wedding party were in kilts (including his sisters!) and their pups made cameos all over. There was a September heat wave going on, so Tracy rocked a gorgeous and goth-inspired black parasol for some ceremony shade. Then it was all about the dancing in the (slightly) cooler barn. Mary and Michael got married with a whimsical Nightmare before Christmas wedding theme. There were Jack Skellington cookies, balloons, and one of the best zombie-themed guest book prints we’ve seen. Oh, and just wait until you see the cake: Jack Skellington meets Batman! Don’t miss their pooch dressed up in tails, in addition to his actual tail.
