Ashlie and Clay wanted to share their love of theater by hosting a surprise play as their wedding ceremony! From the custom playbill to the haunted prohibition gambling hall and the hotel once owned by mobsters in the Prohibition era, this historical theater wedding was amazing. Don’t miss the gifts they gave to one another that were the actual sound waves of them speaking their vows to one another!
From retro fascinators to lovely flower crowns to masterpieces of intricate design, these wedding headpieces function as formal accessory but also as re-wearable art for parties, holidays, theater, and more. Matt and Kelly’s hip Chicago wedding had a private ceremony in the lounge at Logan Theatre in Chicago, and then a giant party/rock show with their favorite soul band The Hemispheres. They even flew in guest lead singer Todd Hembrook for the event!
Their mutual affinity for comic books and sci-fi appeared in a few places including Kelly’s custom-made comic book shoes. Matt’s cousin officiated the ceremony, incorporating their love of movies. Let’s see how these two comic book and movie nerds rock out in Chicago…
You may remember Rebecca and Bryan from their rockin’ wedding we featured a while back. We teased their all-original ROCK OPERA that they performed at their wedding. And now we’ve got the video evidence by [heart link="http://vendors.offbeatwed.com/listing/the-adventures-of"]The Adventures Of[/heart] that something this rad actually happened. Don’t miss the “fuck yeah, I do” wedding vows, the original songs, and spectacular performances. It’s making our lives.
