A ZaZa Gardens wedding that beautifully merged two cultures & families

An eclectic ZaZa Gardens wedding that beautifully merged two cultures & families

Ronald and Mary Jane’s wedding day merged two cultures and families. The day began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, where many laughs, smiles, and tears were shed as gifts and traditions were exchanged. Don’t miss the gorgeous tea setup, personalized cookies in Chinese, and the tea ceremony dresses! The second half of the day consisted of a traditional wedding ceremony incorporating Mary Jane’s Latinx heritage. Bold and bright colors were used throughout the historic venue of ZaZa Gardens

A San Francisco California wedding with Chinese traditions (like lion dancers!)

An homage to San Francisco with Chinese traditions (like lion dancers!)

A traditional tea ceremony, outfit changes, tons of DIY details (from the invitation, centerpieces, personalized gift boxes, programs, place cards, signs, calligraphy, and decor!), this San Francisco wedding is a vision. Don’t miss the Hello Kitty car, the gorgeous views of the sunset skyline of San Francisco as the night went on and of course, the lion dancers!

When Hinduism and Taiwanese wedding traditions combine: a multicultural wedding day

Helen and Deepak hail from Chicago but traveled down to Port Orange, Florida, to get married at The Estate on the Halifax. The multicultural pair intertwined Hindu wedding traditions with Taiwanese influences and owned it — the day included a lot of awesome details, like the fan-turned-wedding program and mismatched red bridesmaids dresses. Twinkle lights lined each corner of the reception hall, and the party moved indoors to enjoy a fruit-heavy dessert table (no cake!) and tons of dancing.

Gloria & Robert’s harmonious wedding of Korean-Canadian traditions

This is a culture clash we LOVE: Western-style table settings with origami cranes as decorations, the bride’s mother-in-law walking down the aisle in her dress alongside her mother in her traditional Korean hanbok, and a bar serving both Canadian beer and Korean soju liquor. We’ve also got two ceremonies (including a tea ceremony), two dresses, and two genres of food. We are twice as down for this wedding.
