Metallic, marble, and chic style: now THIS is fab modern wedding inspiration
We were blown away by the chic style, classy fashion, and amazing Denver Art Museum venue at the styled elopement of real life couple Gabriel and David. Much of the inspiration came from a painting by Zeng Fanzhi at the museum. They cultivated a colorful and sleekly modern style into which we want to sink. Think sharp grays and blues and fresh tidbits of saturated citrus color everywhere.
Come for the art, stay for the shoes (on everyone!), the ultra stylish invites, the metallic marble and geometric cake, and the couple #goals. This is some urban modern wedding inspiration we can get behind…
We can’t believe how extra this Instagram wedding shoot is (…and we dig it!)
This is going to get really meta up in here. When we first saw this styled shoot from Germany, which features fictional Instagram-obsessed bride, we couldn’t get over just how EXTRA it was. I mean, we’re talking about a glam and dreamy behind-the-scenes view of what a social media maven’s wedding morning might look like– there are trendy pillows, gorgeous confections, a love note from her fiance, and even a smoothie bowl(!).
This subtle Link and Zelda wedding inspiration will teleport you to a fancy-pants Hyrule
An ethereal and sophisticated Link and Zelda wedding inspiration shoot? Oh hell yes, sign.us.up. It’s always amazing when geeks go super chic. Everything from the leafy paper goods, wooden ocarina, “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone. Take This” seating chart, Triforce symbol escort cards, and greens and stone colors everywhere, evoked the Legend of Zelda. Even the rings are Triforce-inspired. Oh, and don’t miss the chairs! On the groom’s chair is a sign that reads, “My Hero” with inscribed notes to the “Song of Time” and on the bride’s, “My Princess” with notes to “Zelda’s Lullaby.”
You’ll want a bookstore photo session after seeing this retro wedding inspiration
This ultra stylish, 1950s-themed wedding inspiration got us right in the bookish feels. The bookstore backdrop is tickling our geeky hearts. I’m loving the aesthetic of myriad piles of books, shelves receding into the distance, and old wood from floor to ceiling. I wish we had scratch-n-sniff technology for the book smell! Plus, it’s totally a stealable idea for your own engagement shoot or wedding portraits.
