A quirky rooftop elopement in Las Vegas (with special guest Chewbacca!)
Lynelle and Matt wanted something different for their rooftop elopement and they absolutely succeeded, as you’ll soon see. Chalk up the awesomeness to the American flag pants, killer gold sequin jacket, the skyline of old Vegas, and a tiny after-party in downtown Las Vegas. Oh, and there’s the whole matter of the Chewbacca officiant in a suit.
It’s weird, it’s ultra fun, it’s a little nerdy (for Star Wars day!), and it’s a whole lot of us falling over ourselves to see it. But there’s no waiting for you… time to see the sweet little rooftop elopement…
Sci-fi meets vintage style at this unicorn-haired Star Wars wedding
Check this out: a vintage-inspired Star Wars wedding including AT-AT Walker plugs for the groom’s ears, fabulous pink, blue, and purple unicorn hair on the bride, and tons of sci-fi details like a Star Wars tie, LEGO cufflinks, a lightsaber exit, and a Star Wars LEGO cake.
Don’t miss the super cute handbag “bouquets” (with little gloves!), Force choke photo op, puzzle guest book, and C-3PO cut-out photo booth!
This is most definitely the Star Wars wedding decor you’re looking for
Anna and Tanner’s Star Wars wedding featured a Darth Vader selfie station, storm trooper cake toppers, and ALL about the Dark Side. We’re talking Vader masks, Stormtrooper nails, an “I love you, I know” card box, and, of course, a lightsaber battle. They had one of my favorite Yoda-inspired signs ever, too: “To the welcome you are. Sit or sit not, there are no sides.” YES!
Their Star Wars wedding decor was exactly the droids we were looking for. Let’s take a look at their intergalactic awesomeness and geek out…
This wedding’s Disney theme (with Star Wars!) is warming our cold villain hearts like a spell
From princesses to Star Wars, this bride, Melissa, loves Disney. Her groom Brodie was on board, too, so choosing a Disney theme for the wedding with a gold gown, Disney princess-channeling bridesmaids, and loads of amazing details, was a no-brainer. Just wait until you see the seriously amazing DIYed centerpieces, each themed for Disney movies.
