Liz & Elly’s queer trans lesbian secular church wedding
These two initially didn’t know they were planning their wedding on Transgender Day of Remembrance, but they ended up embracing the overlap with a moment of silence and a hymn in honor of the day. They also stuck to their guns when they decided to keep this celebration very small. But there was one member of the wedding party who had to be there: their dog!
Chayla & Corey’s gothic garden wedding
Sometimes you have too many interests to smoosh into one wedding. Such was the case with this Aussie wedding in a lush garden. Though they ran into a few problems with vendor communication, you’d never know it by the end result. Enjoy this lovely, stylized wedding (with a bonus legal wedding!).
Roz & Pete’s humanists loving doughnuts and Prince wedding
This couple loves Krispy Kremes, books, vintage cameras, and each other. Do you want to be their BFFs yet? They had two ceremonies (one being of the humanist persuasion), an epic candy buffet, and dress-up costumes for the reception resulting in much hilariousness. The coincidental ceremony mishap is pretty funny too.
Martha & Jonathan’s Israel and Prague unconventional Jewish wedding
The first wedding was in Prague with tungsten rings, the second in Israel with handcuffs. You heard right! Plus, the bride also handmade both of her black and white dresses. When the rain came down, they had to resort to a plan B, but it all turned out fabulously in the end! Check out this small wedding with big cool factor.
