Michael and Marco were planning their wedding celebration in Texas before the memorable “Love Wins” announcement. The excitement really ramped up after the ruling passed. They love to travel and were brought together by their love of ’80s music and movies, so that was included in their theme. The pair sailed off at sunset on a cruise with champagne for the catamaran ceremony.
Casual carnival madness and an interactive ring warming
Meg and Carrie hosted a casual carnival-themed wedding in Meg’s parent’s backyard in New Hampshire, proving that backyard weddings can be kick-ass for budget and scenery. (Seriously, the greenery is making me long for warmer weather!) Plus, they put a really fun spin on a ring warming ceremony by making it “interactive.” Read on to see how they did it.
Andrea & Jim’s nautical literary adventure wedding
These two continued their love affair with sailing together by getting married on their sailboat, then taking their honeymoon on board around the world. Their small wedding all fit on board for the ceremony before walking down the pier to the reception, but you’ll swoon when you see where their unofficial first dance took place.
