Jilly and Benny had been together for eight years before deciding to elope and rock this pre-elopement photo shoot at a crumbling villa set among a hauntingly beautiful winter backdrop. Jilly, a long-time collector of vintage attire and jewelry, provided the epic fashion, from the lace wedding dress from 1940 to floor-length coats and heels from the 1920s and 30s.
Dark and beautiful details capped off the day with whiskey cocktails, long walks on snowy paths, and candlelight inside the villa. Let’s ogle these two gorgeous people and their elopement love…

This Ocracoke Island wedding takes full advantage of the oasis-like environment of the island off the coast of North Carolina. They rented a beautiful house on the sound, and wed in the backyard among their family, friends, and lots of driftwood. Erin’s wedding dress was a work of art in itself, sewed and dyed by hand. Natya and Kris had a small but kick-ass ceremony at the famous Voodoo Donuts in Portland, OR. There were, as always, about 20 people in line at the store and many more outside along the sidewalk. This meant that there were tons of onlookers, many of whom only just realized there was a tiny wedding happening.
