Kate and Greig gathered their family and friends at The Bothy, an intimate restaurant in the trendy West End of Glasgow, Scotland for what they thought was an engagement party. They were soon to discover that upstairs waiting for them were Kate and Greig decked out in full wedding attire with their local minister ready to make it official.

Surprise number two came from Greig’s brother who had returned from Australia for the occasion without telling anyone ahead of time!

Our wedding included a lot of nods to nerdisms of which we're fans. We hosted our guests in a castle in Scotland for four days, and wanted to be sure that every minute was curated, so that they could relax and be swept away by their surroundings. The entire weekend was a reception that included a good amount of play and performance including burlesque and an owl meet and greet.

Meghan and Ryan traveled all the way from Georgia to have a dramatic and romantic Scotland elopement at the St. Anthony’s Chapel ruins in Edinburgh.

They read their vows in front of two close friends, marking the occasion with champagne and cigars afterwards. After the ceremony, everyone had a delicious dinner in Edinburgh followed by a karaoke session at a local bar. After they tied the knot, it was off to to the Scottish highlands to visit were Ryan’s ancestors had lived. It’s like a wanderlusting dream come true about which we can dream…

Christina and Paul wanted a fairly traditional Scottish wedding with a bit of a twist. Think natural touches and a bit of a travel theme. Oh, and everything was seriously GORGEOUS on top of it all. there was lovely greenery, purple touches, and even travel-themed table names on a big map to show everyone where they’ve been (and where to sit, of course).
