A jazz band, cajun food, & absinthe dispensers at this joyful New Orleans wedding
Cailin and Brett have had plenty of travels and adventures around the world. Seeing how much they love food, music, and revelry, the decision to have their wedding in New Orleans was a no-brainer. Their stunning New Orleans wedding really expressed their personalities by steering away from traditions which didn’t fit them, and creating a wedding that expressed who they are from the rustic, classic New Orleans style venue, organic flowers fresh from the florist’s garden, to the French 75 and Sazerac bar, which were served from absinthe dispensers.
Handmade boho wedding in the redwoods
Our theme was boho meets music festival. We had a camping wedding and were at the property with our friends and family for four days. Almost all decor was DIY and even the tables, chairs, and light posts were made by friends. We wanted to create a sort of bohemian festival-themed atmosphere, where everyone felt like they could do what they wanted in the space. The most important goal was to bring all of our family and friends together in one place and to make sure that everyone felt comfortable and welcomed.
An eclectic country family folk festival wedding in Washington
Collin and I live in a very funky, folk community. We actually met in a ukulele class at a folk music festival, so when it came to our wedding aesthetic, it was going to be just as unique and beautiful as our lives are. During our two-year engagement, our friends and family offered up their many skills and talents which came together to create a very distinctive wedding.
