A music-heavy Brooklyn wedding with dinosaurs, balloons, and a drumming bride
Meet Mary and Matt, two Brooklyn-based musicians who wanted their wedding to include their fave bands and tunes in a big way. Each table at the reception was named after a band (some local, some super famous) and both the bride and groom took turns playing with their band during the reception! The multi-talented pair’s creativity didn’t stop there, as Mary also DIYed most of the bouquets and decor herself.
Becky & Shannon’s Southern music and paper flowers wedding
This singer/pianist duo loves performing and it totally shows in this musical wedding in a theater. We’re talking sheet music flowers, treble heart cake toppers, super professional-looking, and headshots of the “wedding cast.” But my favorite part of all is that they had MUSICAL VOWS! You’ve gotta see how they did it. Plus, if you’ve ever had a problem finding something dapper and non-dressy to wear to your lesbian wedding, you may have a… “semi-butch quandary!”
Laura & Dave’s succulents, accordions, and Paper Moon wedding
This couple knows the rules for sticking to your budget and make every choice count. With an adorable photo booth, an accordion serenade, and tons of DIY succulent centerpieces, you’ll definitely find something to love. Oh, and you’ll definitely want to see the groom’s face at the first look — it’s epic.
Sarah & Davy’s love in the key of honky-tonk wedding
When the groom is a professional honkey-tonker, and you live near an amazing little dive called Max’s Place, it makes all the sense in the world to celebrate that honkey-tonk lifestyle with a cowboy and music-themed bash. The kick-ass outfits on the bands (yep, all of them) alone are worth a look.
