Heidi & Erdem’s vintage-inspired Turkish-American wedding (with a belly dancing sword balancer!)
Don’t miss this Turkish-American delight of a wedding: a belly dancer, sword balancing, Turkish delights, “La Vie en Rose” (and tons of other Francophile details!), Turkish evil eye wedding favors, old Hollywood glamour, DIYed invites, and hip scarves that got everyone’s hips shaking on the dance floor. Oh, and don’t miss how the groom’s father speech melted everyone’s heart!
Angelina & Bobby’s rainy Parkour wedding
You know about Parkour, right? These two met doing it, fell in love, and totally integrated their mutual hobby into a homemade obstacle course to the altar! We’re talking vaulting blocks, cat leaps, and eight-foot blocks. Is there any better analogy for the trials of marriage and life? I’m thinking these two are pretty damned prepared for it. Oh, and do not miss the Parkour cake!
Madeleine & Anton’s two-day pink and black wedding
Over Labor Day weekend, this couple had a very small, private ceremony one day, then an entire day of festivities the next. They had chalk drawing contests, a giant frame photo booth, a big ol’ chocolate heart-shaped cake, and the cutest damned pink and black dress EVAR!
Laura & Henry’s casual kite-flying pinwheel wedding
This casual, outdoor wedding has a ton going for it: pinwheels, kites, aerial silks performance, an elaborate ruse where the couple hides among the guests in disguise, and a hilarious officiant (with video!). We also find out just how far the groom will go to prove his love for his bride… beating up old ladies. Just don’t make him prove it.
