Lacey & Vinod’s vegan, peacock, 1920s wedding
We are loving this intimate waterfront ceremony that includes readings from the moms, a loving moment of silence for a lost brother, and a little floofy pooch ring bearer who served as reading inspiration. On top of that, this pair decided to go total Gatsby with a 1920s-themed reception! A placid lake meets a rockin’ party and we wouldn’t want it any other way. Just wait until you see the peacock tights and art deco cake!
Courtney & Jason’s li’l Las Vegas pin-up wedding
Las Vegas isn’t really known for subtle and intimate, but this pair made it happen, complete with a pin-up-inspired backdrop at a 1950s-styled Las Vegas wedding chapel. Add a twirly dress and crinoline, a ceremony high-five, and some “zombie faces,” and this was a retro-fab party. Add on the big Toronto reception a month later, and the celebration was complete. Oh, and wait until you see the surprise ring from the bride!
Becca & Michael’s era-bending Vegas wedding
Ultra chic vintage fashion lovers meets geeky 8-bit LEGO — all is right with the world. This gorgeous pair opted for a 1960s feel in Las Vegas, complete with a surprise serenade by some Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin impersonators! Add in the kiss switcheroo from the groom during the ceremony and the bride’s brother’s hilarious anecdote, and you’ll be loving it as much as we do.
Ann & Eric’s Detroit lovefest with old timey revelry
These two love them some old timey fun and brought it ALL to their wedding in the bride’s hometown of Detroit. She also totally schooled her Chicago pals in all things awesome in Detroit: the Henry Ford museum complex, awesome food (including Coney dogs!), and goodie bags filled with local snacks and beers. Get on your penny-farthing and come take a peek!
