A 1920s-era vintage wedding in a 19th-century Victorian house
In the mood for some fabulous vintage style? This wedding delivers. The bride, Courtney, gives us two dresses to satisfy our appetites: a lusciously beaded, green flapper-style number and a vintage 1920s dress with the actual accompanying headpiece, which we’ve been staring at covetously ever since we first saw it. There was even a photo shown at the wedding of the original bride wearing both pieces (look for it on the guest book table!).
A swanky Brooklyn loft wedding with inked-up brides
Two white gowns + two hot ladies = too much for us to handle. The backdrop to this swank event was an old tobacco factory-turned-loft space, Deity Lounge in Brooklyn. The must-sees: lots of ink, personalized cake pops (get in my mouf), and some truly epic accessory bling. Plus, they had matching ring finger tattoos which were in addition to their rings, not instead.
Rachel & Bo’s rockin’ red and black wedding
There were a few very sweet moments in this wedding: mom walking her daughter down the aisle, friends singing at the ceremony, and a rockin’ band playing for their friends at the reception. I also can’t forget to mention the gorgeous red and black details like the bride’s shoes (matching her hair!), black crinoline, and flower clutch. It all ends up being a fabulous music-filled day.
Dinos, giant pencils, and a Silly String ambush at this Melbourne wedding
Ben and Heidi are laid-back people and wanted their mid-day lunch wedding to reflect that. And with a black dress, super-charged red hair, dinosaur decor, and a giant pencil for the guest book, it was also really quirky and fun. I love that combination.
Alicia & Cody’s fiery dragon and phoenix art gallery wedding
With amazing gradient mobiles that match the bride’s earrings that match her dress that matches the cake that matches the fiery candles… WHEW! Seriously, this wedding is a sight to see and totally authentic to their tastes. Plus, the bride painted a spectacular (seriously) triptych for the ceremony that made my day.
Match your hair and your wedding shoes
Ooh, girl. You know I loves me some loud shoes and some pink hair and when you coordinate your loud pink shoes with your bright pink hair? You’re basically guaranteeing that I have to go change my pants.
