Antonia & Brian’s historians combine worlds wedding
These two met at The National Archives, so photos there were required. But after that, it was all about the amazing crocheted red dress, the choreographed dance, the meaningful ceremony rituals, and the awesome song written by the bride’s closest friend. Hungarian, British, and Irish influences reigned, but it was all about inclusion at this sweet wedding.
Gothic punk at a seaside wedding with whales and wine
The backdrop to this gothic punk wedding is certainly not the norm. Picture a craggy sea, 1000-foot drop, and whales hitting the surface. The combination of the elegant corsetry, skull details, and seaside winery setting had me at “hello.”
Jenne & Alex’s Viking belly dancing backyard wedding
After a wedding (or two) under their belt, it was time to make this one their own: Vikings, a fiery red dress, belly dancing performers (who dragged everyone up to dance!), and a processional song written by the groom. Join us (and Geoff Peterson) in reading about this backyard shindig.
Erin & Jeff’s Scottish tartan and balloon animal wedding
A ruby red gown, lots of Scottish influences, and a friend with connections into a favorite photo setting meant a pretty stellar day for this couple. She’s theatrical, he brought the tartan — let’s get down and line dance! Just watch out for rogue balloon animals. Apparently they get around.
