Scotia & Kyle’s Celtic viking pirate punk wedding
Combining interests and heritages in this wedding was a wild ride: Celtic, Nordic, punk, pirates, and Victorian style. All these combined formed the power of Greyskull a most glorious wedding. With singing first dances, burlesque bouquet tosses, handmade cake toppers, and some of the best fashion we’ve seen, this one is a must-see.
Dawn & John’s elegant and pirate-y wedding
It be Talk Like a Pirate Day again, me hearties, and Offbeat Bride readers can always be counted on to give us amazing pirate-themed weddings. This year we’ve got amazing handmade pirate garb, historical dances, necklaces instead of rings, and even a released mini Kraken. Strap on yer boots, ye landlubber, and take a look.
Skull and crossbones boutonnieres for your “pirate crew”
I made these boutonnieres for our Pirate Crew, AKA all our friends and family who are stepping up to help staff our wedding. They will help identify the helpers to any guests or vendors who may need assistance with something. They were super-fast, and super-fun.
Giselle & Alan’s pirate handfasting wedding
Y’aaaaar! A pirate’s wedding for me! This geeky pair loves pirates and loves costumes EVEN MORE! So when it came to getting all the guests involved, these two did some serious pirate strong-arming and it totally worked. There were corsets, swords instead of bouquets, and no landlubbers in sight.
