A Muppet officiated this cliffside New York wedding with a killer black dress
Liz and Anthony were married beneath the cliffs of Nyack Beach State Park in New York where the views are unreal. Liz rocked a short black dress and a killer jacket while Anthony wore the shirt he wore on their first date. It was a super sweet sentiment and we’re swooning. Oh, and did I mention that their officiant was A MUPPET? Oh hell yes. We haven’t seen a Muppet wedding in ages.
Art meets science at a wonderfully weird New York gallery wedding
Lauren and Kyle are two wonderfully weird creatures from outer space who are super in love with each other (also Earth-bound visual artists and programmers whose art mixes light work, electronics and sound, while exploring human’s interactions). Lauren’s “Conversacube” (a device she created that offers random words to ease strangers into a conversation) were installed on every table at the reception, and Kyle’s magnificent light installation lit the whole room all night.
We LOVE the dichotomy of this Chinese-cowboy New York and Texas karaoke wedding
Cowboy hats, a Chinese tea ceremony, a gorgeous red qipao, New York, Texas, wild drunken karaoke, and honoring the parents — this Texas karaoke wedding is everything and more to fill your senses with awe. And maybe make you boggle at all that’s going on. Don’t miss the matching bridesmaid tattoos, handmade paper flowers, and all kinds of book lover details including book cookies!
Bubble guns and ribbon wands: a colorful playful wedding that will tickle your inner child
Colleen and David rocked so many killer ideas for their colorful playful wedding that we can barely fit it all in telling you about it. You’ll scroll through these photos writing down everything you see. First, the colors: tangerines, raspberries, corals with accent of aquas. It was definitely a playful vibe over super romantic and sacred.
Second, the decor: water tower table numbers from brown craft kits. Adorable. They held a crafting contest for best centerpiece decoration during dinner and had a table full of markers, googly eyes, and more. Don’t miss the handmade signs, 160 ribbon wands, and bubble guns. This one is a winner on all fronts, but especially for FUN. Let’s see it…
