Heather & Diane’s snowy mountain lodge wedding
This pair focused on the places and tokens that meant the most to them. Their venue, concert ticket table numbers, and even a cute feather fascinator had meaning. And when a snowstorm took away the option of an outdoor ceremony, their indoor alternative turned out better than ever. These ladies know how to plan an intimate and personal celebration (with awesome winter coats!).
Laura & Martijn’s outdoor colorful Yosemite wedding
Below the mountains of Yosemite, two eco-friendly lovers made a wedding. And boy, is it purty! They met and fell in love there, so it only made sense to celebrate there as well. With handmade pinwheels, fabric flowers, and parasols, this DIYed party is worth a look. And the scenery seals the deal.
This wedding was a big gay dance party in the mountains
Take two men in love, a weekend long party full of dancing, pies, and even Jazzercize, and you get the wedding of Chad and Matt. And any couple who provides parasols, ribbon streamers, and cardboard cutouts for their “gigantic gay discotheque” is aces in my book.
Love at high altitude: a ski wedding near Mount Rainier
These two are outdoorsy folks and decided that a ski resort was the place they wanted to make their union official at 6,872 feet. What they ended up with was an unbelievably blue sky, crisp mountain air, and amazing photos, all before the resort even opened!
