You’ll swoon at this vintage Muslim wedding at the South Georgia Botanical Gardens
Nadia and Jonathan met working as freelance journalists in New York City. Nadia, originally from Statesboro, GA, really wanted her wedding to be in her hometown so they made it happen. Nadia and Jonathan are both Muslim and had never kissed each other before the wedding day, so their portraits are particularly sweet and romantic. Don’t miss the DIY centerpieces and decor, Jonathan’s suit that was handmade by his mother(!), and a poignant reminder of who wasn’t able to make it that day and why…
Get swept away by this beachside wedding in Bequia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines
Cariona and Omorow first met when Cariona went down to Canouan (a small island in the Caribbean) for work. When planning their wedding, the couple knew that they wanted to get married down in the Caribbean where it all began. They decided on Bequia, a small island off of the main island, Saint Vincent. The couple was married on the oldest church on the island, St. Mary’s Anglican Church. Afterwards, everyone danced until the party was crashed (literally) at the end of the night, ending in a giant celebration and a spontaneous jump into the pool.
This fall elopement in Tennessee was surrounded by foliage, leather jackets, & intimate vows
Picture it: an intimate ceremony among the turning fall leaves of a woodland backdrop. A gray dress, dapper groom, and a little edge with leather jackets. You don’t have to imagine it, because I’ve got just such a wedding. Marcella and Jimmy chose a gorgeous fall day for their Seymour, TN elopement.

We both love castles and Irish history, and Craig wanted to have a death metal band play, so we found somewhere where that was possible, and arranged everything around that. We didn’t have a specific theme, but the castle definitely inspired some elements of our wedding. We decided to include our two swords in the day as there is a Viking tradition to exchange swords at your wedding as a promise to protect each other.
A fairy tale genderfluid cherry blossom vow renewal (with a dress-to-suit swap!)
Gag*i and Wuu had a transcendent vow renewal in Vienna with pinks, flowers, and a dress to suit outfit change before a second ceremony. It was lovely, but the description we got from the couple said more than we ever could.
Here’s how their genderfluid cherry blossom vow renewal played out…
It’s a color explosion of papel picado & flowers at this Dia De Los Muertos wedding
Look, I love Halloween week, but when I see some super colorful Dia de los Muertos wedding inspiration, I know I’m in for a spectacular show. And in this case, that show is bright papel picado strung up in trees, rainbow ribbons, multicolored bouquets, a sexy glam wedding dress, a hot AF couple how rock that ink, and a gorgeous matte black meets colorful flowers cake.
