Elise & David’s Anglican garden wedding
A glorious garden, lanterns for the bridesmaids, a brooch bouquet, handmade jewelry, and a ton of sweet moments — don’t miss this explosion of pretty. Oh, and pastel lovers will keel over from the ruffle-y cake, too. There’s also some poignant advice for those who are planning a wedding and also dealing with a disability.
Ailecia & Max’s magical punk rock wedding in the woods
This woodsy punk wedding was a full day of games, singing, barbecue, swimming, and a sweet little ceremony smack dab in the middle. Plus, everyone looked amazing in corsets, tutus, and leather flowers. Oh, and don’t miss this kitty-loving couple’s photo-bomber!
One part church + one part Laotian ceremony = a seriously awesome wedding day
Anna and Brad had two weddings in one day! They began by getting married in the same church Brad’s parents were wed in, and rounded out the evening with a traditional Laotian ceremony. The festivities included a customized newspaper wedding announcement, a Laotian string ceremony known as baci, and so much delicious-looking food (look at those fruit kebabs!) you could almost taste it through your screen.
Lindsay & Ashraf’s multi-lingual vegan-friendly atheist wedding
A city hall ceremony started this pair off in matrimony, and then it was topped off by a three-day weekend of barbecues, brunches, and of course, a big ol’ multi-lingual party! Just wait until you see their M.C. Escher-inspired invitation, Wall-E cake toppers, and fruit centerpieces. But the best part is their funniest moments, which involve an overly enthusiastic ring dad and a translated baby. WHAT.
