Dagny & Charlie’s toys noise and tattoos goofball wedding
Take some noisemakers, fortune telling fish, wax lips and mustaches, oversized eyeglasses, and a temporary tattoo booth and you’ll have an awesome way to distract your guests from making a big scene when you’re a shy couple. Plus, SO MUCH FUN. This couple definitely knows how to throw a good party that is true to their needs.
Caitlin & Kaitlyn’s secret garden lesbian wedding
This is one of those weddings where some family drama has a silver lining and a a happy alternative ending. It also has lots of geektastic references to Doctor Who and Tolkien, of which I totally approve. It’s obvious that these two have an awesome community of love helping them create and celebrate.
Rachelle & Eric’s rainy improv-tastic casual cookout wedding
This couple may have gotten rained out of their original location, but an obliging firehouse ended up being an awesome substitute. As far as reception entertainment goes, this wedding wins all around: stand-up comedy, live improv, piñata bashing, and musical chairs! Plus, the story about the bride’s grandmother making her cake had me fighting the tears. Enjoy your Fourth of July with this Fourth of July cookout wedding!
Jolene & Jasin’s bookworm weds artist wedding
Our Bookish theme week brings us this Indiana wedding with a librarian’s touch: cupcakes on children’s classics, “Just Married” Scrabble tiles, and library card invites. But a highlight of the day was definitely when their dog, Puppers, stood as fourth bridesmaid. Fur babies FTW!
