Vanessa & Nick’s urban whimsy wedding
A photo studio isn’t an obvious choice for a venue, but when you see it, you’ll love it. Add in a vegan menu, DIY invites, and even a little dress snafu, and you’ve got a start. And don’t forget to check out their engagement announcement! It is adorbs.
Kelly & Justin’s DIY vintage Halloween two-day wedding
These two like photobooths — so much so that the groom proposed in one. So what better photobooth opportunity could there be than a costume party? The ceremony was the night before the reception so the couple could go FULL-ON costume for the party. And let me tell you, it was worth it. A ring warming, candy buffet, awesome costumes, and a hint of vintage give us a lot to love in the Halloween week entry.
Kimberly & Brett’s Corpse Bride and Flubber glam Halloween wedding
The Buffy theme for the processional, the Dexter theme for the cake cutting… already I’m totally down with this. Add in their Corpse Bride and Flubber decor (yep, I said Flubber) and you’ve got yourself a Halloween-y shindig fit for any pop culture geek. Just another awesome entry into Halloween Week!
Stephanie & Dave’s vintage theater Beatles wedding
Anyone think there can be too much Beatles music? Didn’t think so. How about when it’s in the historic Portage Theater in Chicago? Still in? What if they served popcorn at the ceremony and had an acoustic guitar guest book? Okay, I think you’re safe to crush on this one.
