So many buckles: Rob’s amazing red gothic fairytale groom gear
We’ll hopefully be profiling the full wedding soon, but I have to stop first to give some snaps to Rob here and his impeccable gothic-tinged suit, complete with one of the most beautiful red jackets I’ve seen in a long time. Oh, and the buckled red vest? Amazing. The detailing, you guys… THE DETAILING. And the accessories! And his bride, Liz. Just wait…
Drool over one last spooky wedding of the season with a corpse bride from Pennsylvania!
Okay, yes, we’re moving away from the season of skeletons and spooks, BUT. I owe it to you all to show you this one last spooky glam wedding! Crissa made for an awesome corpse bride when she and TJ got married earlier this fall. She styled her own look, thanks in part to her grandmother’s wedding dress, a skirt of her own, and some choice accessories from Lovechild Boudoir. TJ absolutely kept up with his own Victorian corpse groom costume, and Crissa’s daughter joined in the fun as a sparkly princess.
Screw shotgun weddings — it’s all about these shotgun boutonnieres
I made my own DIY shotgun shell boutonnieres! Basically what I did was hot glued a bunch of feathers on top of each other and shoved them down into the shells. Then I stuck the flowers into the shells in front. Easy and awesome!
Zam’s outfit will totally make you rethink everything you know about groom gear
This is Zam. Lily from [vendor-heart link="http://vendors.offbeatwed.com/listing/wild-about-you-photography"]Wild About You Photography[/vendor-heart] photographed Zam and his bride Athena in Hong Kong, and I think we can all agree that he totally freaking ROCKED his groom gear. He claims that his style has been heavily influenced by NBA stars (HA!) but we think he’s totally got his own thing going on — you’re going to lose it when you see his shoes.
Grooms getting ready are just as gorgeous as brides
We see a LOT of wedding photos of brides getting ready on their wedding days. The “hanging dress” shot. The “doing make-up” shot. You know what we see way less of? Gorgeous grooms (like Andy here) getting ready. The turquoise details, the impeccably parted hair, the inked arms, the lighting coming in through the window… this is just one of those photos that becomes an instant family heirloom. Personally, I’d love to see more wedding photography celebrating everyone’s pre-wedding preparations…
I’m craving this skull cravat pin
This skull cravat pin totally transforms a black on black on black shirt/tie/vest combo into something more personal, more edgy, and somehow at once more fancy. You can snag a set of three similar skulls here and outfit anyone with a tie!
