Geeks in the garden: a boho meets comic book wedding
Is there anything more rad than a wedding based on gardens, a love of brunch, and Swamp Thing? This boho meets comic book wedding at Elizabeth Park in Hartford, CT is a surprisingly awesome blend of geek and chic. Don’t miss the punny “Beauty and Beast” cake!
You won’t have seen anything like this rustic costume wedding with a pancake cake
Travis and Gia are both the adventurous and creative, so they planned a super DIYed rustic costume wedding with Halloween touches (one final hurrah for this season!) and a totally independent spirit. So there were kick-ass decorations incorporating pumpkins, costumes, rustic wood, hot pepper jelly favors, and a PANCAKE CAKE! Plus, I just can’t get over the awesomeness of Gia’s short green dress, tiny lace gloves, and birdcage veil. Oh, and don’t miss Travis’ general hotness in his killer tie.
Michelle & Phil’s Oscars in space sci-fi extravaganza
This sophisticated sci-fi wedding was truly an Oscars in space epic adventure with Wookiee cookies, a lightsaber bouquet, and the most gorgeous custom-made green and gold down we’ve seen. Don’t miss the spatula references in the ceremony (with matching tattoos!) and aptly named sci-fi-themed drink menu.
A Mattel toy-themed wedding with veggie centerpieces and liquid nitrogen sundae bar
Michael and Liesl’s beachside Mattel toy-themed wedding featured a bright green gown, hot pink tie, Mattel toy escort cards and menu holders, vegetable centerpieces (which were juiced the next day!), liquid nitrogen sundae bar, and so much charm you won’t know what to do. Don’t miss the epic first tango, too!
