Annie & Kyle’s kid & eco-friendly picnic wedding
Yesterday, you heard Annie & Kyle’s genius advice on reigning in their guest list. Here’s how the whole shebang turned out. (Spoiler: It was fabulous!)
Beth & Jay’s sunflower, kid-friendly, 40-something wedding
When asked what made her wedding offbeat, Beth said, “What, being gray and bald isn’t offbeat enough in our pretty young bride magazine world?” I say that anyone who rocks who they are and where they’re at in their life at their wedding (or in general) is just plain awesome. Beth and Jay did, in fact, rock their kid-friendly, 40-something second wedding. It included a traditional service featuring Beth’s kids as the wedding party, sunflowers, and lots of DIY details.
Serena & Chris’s pirates-meets-renfest forest wedding
Serena & Chris based the the theme of their wedding around what they wanted to wear. Serena didn’t want a traditional white dress. She wanted a dark green fairy looking dress and Chris did not want to be stuck in a penguin suit. So they designed their wedding around their ideal outfits.
RJ & Amanda’s eco-friendly science experiment wedding
My partner and I aren’t at all religious, but both work in scientific fields and spend most of our free time hiking and rock-climbing. Add in that we’re both hopeless geeks, and a science museum is the obvious place to get hitched.
