A majestic Irish castle wedding with death metal & sword-bearing protectors
We both love castles and Irish history, and Craig wanted to have a death metal band play, so we found somewhere where that was possible, and arranged everything around that. We didn’t have a specific theme, but the castle definitely inspired some elements of our wedding. We decided to include our two swords in the day as there is a Viking tradition to exchange swords at your wedding as a promise to protect each other.
Check the blue velvet wedding dress and matching blazer at this a moody goth-lite wedding
Our theme was affordable moody goth-lite with nods to Halloween and heavy on the velvet. The wedding party were all in velvet jewel tones but were allowed to accessorize as they wished, which included spider brooches and skull pins for the boutonnieres. Each table was marked with a different horror icon and the hall was decorated with spider webs, pumpkins, gourds, and lanterns. The linens for the tables were orange and purple, very Halloween colors. There were Halloween-inspired cocktails served in blood bags and a black vegan cake…
Venus flytraps and forever love at this haunting inspiration wedding
This haunting inspiration wedding is truly a dark and glam look at goth weddings (and Halloween, if you’re planning one for 2019!). The floral pieces on the table and bouquet were designed out of silk flowers, which are ideal for repurposing, preserving as a keepsake, or turned into a family heirloom. Did you notice the Venus Flytraps in the bouquet and centerpiece?!
This Atlanta goth chic wedding had a headpiece to die for
When I first saw this wedding come in, my eyes were darting around the screen like a bat in a cave. The black and white gown, the seriously chic goth Halloween vibe, the skelly decor, the red and black flowers, the Morticia Addams-channeling bridesmaids, the black pumpkin guest “book” — it was intense. Oh, and of course, THAT HEADPIECE.
