A woodland darkly glam wedding with skulls, succulents, & spines

Bride Kayla loves the color black, glitter, bones, and science, so all of those things were incorporated into her and groom Josh’s wedding day. There were handmade bouquets, surprise readings at the ceremony from the wedding party, wedding pies, flowers in metal skulls, spine pens, and a record guest book. When a rustic forest wedding met red, black, and metal

When we got engaged, we knew we didn't want a typical wedding. Instead, we wanted to incorporate some of the wonderful things we enjoy together into an expression of our love. So much magic at this butterfly themed wedding in a sculpture garden

So much magic at this butterfly themed wedding in a sculpture garden

Liz and Steven planned a fairy and butterfly themed wedding at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum in Austin, Texas. Liz’s late mother was known as “the butterfly lady,” so when the pair did a butterfly release after their ceremony, it had a lot of meaning. This was especially so when Liz was covered in the butterflies all over her dress. The symbolism is so sweet.

Don’t miss the greenery-covered tables, adorable mini bites at the reception, typewriter guestbook, and Liz’s gorgeous tiara!
