This woodsy chic backyard wedding was a labor of love
Corey and George had an intimate wedding that celebrated the vibrant colors of fall and their waterfront backyard venue in the woods. They grew their own flowers, and the bride’s mother made her bouquet which included a deer horn to honor the bride’s father and the groom’s mother. The groom surprised everyone with a live band, and they provided a huge drawing board for the kids and anyone who wanted to leave a love note for them. It was a chic backyard wedding, and a lovely labor of love with local vendors and gorgeous details.
Be swept away by this vintage woodland wedding
The gorgeous venue, a 1865 as a stage coach stop, set the stage for this vintage woodland wedding. The vintage details, the gorgeous dress and shawl, the paper moon photo booth… this is one wedding on which you can feast your eyes. You’ll LOVE how they all handled a blast of rain at the reception!
FALL for this autumn wedding with a Nordic ceremony, axe-throwing, and camping
Jessie and Adam’s fall wedding had lots of traditions and symbolism in the Nordic ceremony. The pair and their wedding party carried logs with rune symbols which were burned ceremonially. Burning incense and herbs were sprinkled around the perimeter ceremony site. Adam even hand-built the GORGEOUS ceremony arch structure which had carved Nordic dragons. The night ended with celebrating, ax-throwing, and camping, and we can’t get enough. Just wait until you see the bride’s surprise colored dress underlay, the pumpkin details, and the sheet music and burlap non-floral bouquet.
We’re bowing down to the majesty of this gold leaf crown
Becca and Sean’s woodland wedding in the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains had a magical setting in Nestldown. One feature in which we fell in love was Becca’s lovely look including this gold leaf crown from Etsy seller Delos Artist. Are we down to bring back the wedding crown in the form of magical gold leaves? Oh hell yes. Let’s bask in the magical splendor of Becca’s look…
