Shienne and Victoria were the winning couple of a giveaway to have their wedding photographed at the 2019 Northampton Pride Parade in Northampton, MA. And when you see how amazingly in love and adorable these two are, you’ll see why. With the joy-filled and colorful parade as their backdrop (and Hadley Farms as their reception venue), it was truly a celebration of who they are.

While y’all know we love big, colorful, and wild wedding themes, we also totally love simple, pared down, and more romantic themes just as much. So with warmer weather looming and outdoor weddings taking center stage for spring and summer, I wanted to explore what nature themed wedding details and boho wedding details I could find that fit a more natural and organic aesthetic. Think lace, linen, floral embroidery, woods, kraft paper, eucalyptus, and colors pulled from nature.
Piñatas, tacos, & cascarones at this Mexican-inspired DIY wedding in Chicago
Steph and David wanted their wedding guests to feel like they were attending a party in their home. Steph made a piñata for the card box, cascarones (Mexican confetti bombs!) to throw after the ceremony, and a ton of fun table decor. Don’t miss the taco bar, pies and paletas for dessert, some serious dancing and video games, and, of course, piñatas. Steph and David had custom piñatas made to represent them: a cat for Steph and a dinosaur for David. Almost too cute to break!

A sweet boho family elopement redo in Prospect Park in Brooklyn
Melissa and Rey eloped back in 2016 and wanted to recapture the magic of that day, this time with their baby boy, Aion, to oversee all the festivities. They had a gorgeous and colorful vow renewal at New York’s Prospect Park followed by a picnic of traditional Dominican and Chinese sweets.
