Prepare to swoon at these stylish grooms and their swanky and chic wedding
Ricardo and Alex had a swanky and chic wedding at the FatVillage Art District in Fort Lauderdale, FL that blew us away. Ricardo owns a successful dance studio and his students and their parents support the LGBT community. Many attended the wedding and brought with them tons of fun vibes.
There were food trucks, a huge, lit-up cherry blossom tree, a custom backdrop and photo booth, and so many colorful and stylish details that you’ll just have to start scrolling to see them all.
Tampa & Atlanta couples: we’ve got a skilled wedding photographer ready to adventure with YOU
Everyone once in a while, we run across a photographer who knows exactly how to capture that perfect light-filled moment that makes your eyes glaze over in a haze of love. Looking at the portfolio of Joyelan Photography gave me those exact feels.
This aquarium wedding was perfect for a mermaid-haired bride named after a mermaid
My mother named me Madison after the mermaid in the movie Splash, so it only seemed fitting that the wedding take place in an aquarium. We took our first look photos in the "wetlands" area of the Florida Aquarium, and the ceremony was in front of the Coral Reef Gallery.
My favorite part of the venue were the sharks that appeared in our photos. The soft blue lighting throughout the aquarium was beautiful, and the venue was really fun.
Grab a plate of BBQ and check out this music festival backwoods wedding with a “tent city”
We used our love of music festivals as inspiration for our music festival backwoods wedding. We had food stalls instead of traditional catering, a couple of local bands, lots of tents, and an overall casual feel to the whole day. We hung hundreds of feet of string lights and accented the space with hand-painted signs and quirky little details like gnomes and mini VW buses. Guests were encouraged to camp out so there was a little tent city on the property.
Just wait until you see this sweet backyard food truck wedding
The ceremony at this sweet backyard wedding was held under a large oak tree on the property and a tent created their reception space for dinner, dancing, and partying the night away. Think lLawn games, a fire pit, and lots of dancing. But the best part may have been the food truck catering with delish burgers and fries! Just wait until you see the green smoke bomb shots…
A lovingly low-key elopement in Miami Beach
Lovingly low-key/easy elopement was our theme. We just wanted a fabulous day where we could celebrate together in a fun city.
We chose the date and location almost by default because Ben was scheduled to be there for training the week before, and had paid time off scheduled the week of Thanksgiving. We eloped for a number of reasons, but mainly because we did not want the meaning of the day to get lost in the shuffle of a big shindig.
