A quirky rooftop elopement in Las Vegas (with special guest Chewbacca!)
Lynelle and Matt wanted something different for their rooftop elopement and they absolutely succeeded, as you’ll soon see. Chalk up the awesomeness to the American flag pants, killer gold sequin jacket, the skyline of old Vegas, and a tiny after-party in downtown Las Vegas. Oh, and there’s the whole matter of the Chewbacca officiant in a suit.
It’s weird, it’s ultra fun, it’s a little nerdy (for Star Wars day!), and it’s a whole lot of us falling over ourselves to see it. But there’s no waiting for you… time to see the sweet little rooftop elopement…
Should we host a reception after our micro-wedding? (+reception invitation wording examples!)
We got married this Saturday. It was a very small reception with mainly family. We were unable to invite all of our friends due to venue capacity being only 70 people and also due to our budget. Here we are on Monday back at work and so many people are upset both at me and my now-husband. Is it appropriate to have a small gathering at our house for all of our friends?
Two daredevils had an indoor skydiving elopement (dressed as pirates!)
Kazi and Joe won an elopement package at an indoor skydiving facility and decided to get wed on Halloween dressed as pirates. They married inside the tunnel with a few iFLY staff members as their witnesses (dressed as a shark and a Ninja Turtle). They were married by their iFLY instructor, who happened to be ordained. Ready to see this pirates-meet-skydiving wedding?
This Virginia mountain elopement is giving us so many tiny wedding FEELS
Healey and Allie were planning a 100-person Washington, DC wedding in the spring, but as they got deeper into wedding planning, they realized how miserable it was making them. They knew that bigger weddings were right for some people, but for them, it was all about a gorgeous Virginia mountain elopement.
