This pop-up wedding at Santa Monica Pier in California was very public, ultra gorgeous, and super colorful. The carnival backdrop is making our day and we’re giddy with the whole thing. The wedding planner, Korinna from Le Festin Events, kept telling passers-by that these two cuties were big celebrities, causing a ton of awesome attention and rubber-necking. A smoldering couple celebrates their elopement with a haunting winter shoot
Jilly and Benny had been together for eight years before deciding to elope and rock this pre-elopement photo shoot at a crumbling villa set among a hauntingly beautiful winter backdrop. Jilly, a long-time collector of vintage attire and jewelry, provided the epic fashion, from the lace wedding dress from 1940 to floor-length coats and heels from the 1920s and 30s.
Dark and beautiful details capped off the day with whiskey cocktails, long walks on snowy paths, and candlelight inside the villa. Let’s ogle these two gorgeous people and their elopement love…
An elopement in Maui with a volcano backdrop
Max and Mel moved Maui to forge a new beginning for themselves and then met through a paddling club. Between karaoke after-parties and Maui adventures, loved blossomed. They decided to have a small elopement in Maui with the East Maui volcano, Haleakalā, as their backdrop. If you think this meant amazing photos, you’ll totally right. Think wide open vistas, dramatic cliffs, and moody clouds.

Natya and Kris had a small but kick-ass ceremony at the famous Voodoo Donuts in Portland, OR. There were, as always, about 20 people in line at the store and many more outside along the sidewalk. This meant that there were tons of onlookers, many of whom only just realized there was a tiny wedding happening.

Steph and Shelby had watched a really beautiful elopement video a few years prior to getting engaged and had it in their heads since it was so intimate. When they actually got engaged, however, so many people were excited and asking about it that they completely froze on what to do. One day after a year or so into their engagement, Steph finally suggested eloping to Disneyland in California for Dapper Day. And it was set: a tiny ceremony and mini honeymoon in the most magical place on Earth.
