A real elopement turned romantic Winter styled shoot bliss
Real life couple, John and Stephanie, eloped on New Year’s Day and didn’t get any photos taken. Jessica of M&J Photography put out a call for a couple to join her on a killer styled shoot, so it was a win-win to get this gorgeous pair photographed. They had all hoped for a romantic Winter styled shoot with snow, but rain was on the menu which still looked AWESOME. You’ll super dig the pink cake, garden setting, and my fave, the floral gown + black veil combo.
A Latin American fiesta wedding with tap dancing, cacti, tequila carts, and opera singing
Just going to lay all this out there: authentic Mexican fare, a mother/daughter tap dance, El Salvadoran wedding traditions, a live jazz band, opera singing by a bridesmaid, poetry, homemade cacti can centerpieces, a tequila cart making rounds around the dance floor, and the groom even drew portraits of their cat which were featured on the wedding invitations. YAS.
This Canadian Medieval feast wedding will slay you with its epic battle to the death
A red Medieval gown, golden antler crowns (!!), Scottish kilts, major costume cred, geeky ceremony references, and a giant bride versus groom sword/axe fight that will wow you — have we got you hooked yet? If not, you’ll definitely be sucked in with the pine cone and wooden log centerpieces, woodsy Mario cake, and wee ones in Medieval garb at this Medieval feast wedding.
Shana & Sean’s Jewish meets Trinidad wedding with Carnival headdresses and a huge reception surprise
Jewish traditions meet Trinidadian traditions at this fabulous wedding in Toronto. We’re talking Carnival headdresses, salsa dancing flash mob-style, a gorgeous chuppah, a chair dance, the Hora, and even a caricaturist at the reception. Don’t miss the bride’s adorable short dress with sleeves, lantern “bouquets” turned centerpieces, and the piece de resistance: their amazing multiple choice quiz announcement at the reception.
