5 Offbeat couples whose weddings inspired me in 2011, plus a special discount for you
2011 was a tremendous year of growth for Milestone Images. I am thrilled to say, thanks to my amazing clients, and the extremely supportive community at Offbeat Bride, that the studio is growing by leaps and bounds. Meanwhile, here’s a look back at five offbeat couples whose weddings inspired me in 2011.
Daria & Andrey’s happy stroll through the city wedding
In honor of Russian New Year’s (the week between New Year’s and Orthodox Christmas), we’re having an Eastern European theme week! Day 1 of Eastern European week features Daria & Andrey’s stroll through Moscow wedding.- Becca
Heather & Kristopher’s fall backyard barbecue wedding
Heather & Kristopher ran into a lot of roadblocks while planing their wedding: including medical issues, a late officiant, a photographer who cancelled three days before, and a best man who couldn’t make it. Yet that didn’t stop them from having a fun backyard barbecue wedding and at the end of the day all that mattered was that they were married!
Nina & Sean’s 1950s-inspired quirky courthouse wedding
Nina & Sean had always dreamt about having a lakeside wedding in Michigan. However, one morning Nina woke up and asked Sean to marry her at a courthouse in Georgia instead. It was kind of a big deal because Nina is not the spontaneous type!
Caitlin & Jos chaotic gothic geek-chic wedding/party
Purple and green, zombies, pirates and dinosaurs… Oh my, Caitlin & Jos sure know how to celebrate a wedding their way.
Terri & Sebastian’s spontaneous, intimate European elopement
Terri and Sebastian ditched all the traditional wedding accoutrements for their Spain elopement, and instead treated the day like a fabulous photo shoot. Wait till you see the photos!
