Crystal snowflakes, snow queen crowns, and rustic pinecones: Our HUGE haul of winter wedding accessories
We’re getting close to cold weather here in the Northern Hemisphere and that means one thing: planning for winter weddings! We’re already thinking about crystal bouquets, snow white capes, faux fur woolies and muffs, and rustic pine cone accessories. I trawled Etsy for some of the best winter wedding accessories and it did not disappoint. Don’t miss the snow queen antler crown, his-and-hers mitten set, lace boot cuffs, red feather epaulettes, and winter-inspired headpieces galore. Let’s go winter shopping!
Christie & Jesse thrill everyone with their surprise Star Trek wedding
A surprise wedding is one thing. A surprise wedding with a Star Trek and LEGO theme is another. But a surprise Star Trek wedding planned entirely by the maid of honor?! Now that’s a whole other level of new for us. But when you see the photos, we think you’ll agree that it turned out fabulously. Just wait until you see the first look, the Tim Horton’s donuts, the Star Trek cake, and the awesome dancing.
Lisa & Will’s rainy rainbow festival wedding
Get ready to be envious of the sheer amount of fun in this wedding: a bouncy castle, arcade games, a maypole, the limbo, live music, and a silent disco at the end of the night! This was a three-day weekend of laid-back camping shenanigans. Add in the butterflies and the amazing pagan handfasting and we’re all just done-for.
Kristine & Doug’s 12th Day of Christmas outdoor winter wedding
It’s the week of Christmas and we’re immersing ourselves in ornament bouquets, holly-covered cake toppers, luxe green capes, and snow-covered weddings in Canada… just like this one! These two may be brave for having an outdoor ceremony in January, but it was the perfect opportunity to pull all the stops with hand-crocheted scarves and hats for the bridesmaids and bundled a capella serenades.
