An intimate and majestic Middle-earth elopement in New Zealand (with a rainbow!)
Kyle is an extrovert and wanted a large wedding in our hometown with all of our family and friends. I wanted a small elopement on top of a mountain in New Zealand where they filmed The Lord of the Rings. I wanted to feel like I was journeying across Middle-earth with the one I love. I wanted our wedding to be an adventure.
We decided to do both! Here’s our magical Middle-earth elopement…
A Whidbey Island cosmos wedding in their own backyard
With the help of their friends and family, Rhiannon and Joe completely transformed their own backyard into a magical space for their Whidbey Island cosmos wedding. The pair runs a print shop together and created signs galore to place all over their backyard in Washington. Each one spoke to their love and the cosmic forces they feel brought them together.
A frostbitten Canadian national park elopement (with bison!)
Bri and Dale had a whirlwind winter elopement at Riding Mountain National Park, followed by a reception a few months later. Manitoba in February isn't when most people would plan an outdoor wedding, but then they wouldn't get to have snow-covered bison as their special guests!
A moss cape and metal bow tie slays all wedding fashion forever
Newlyweds Allison and Dylan showed off some seriously organic fashion statements in this styled shoot. Dylan’s metal bow tie covered in moss and foliage was quirky goodness, but Allison’s foliage and moss cape is out of this world with its natural fashion fabulousness. Plus, give us an all-green air plant bouquet and we’re totally swept away. Won over. Seduced. Green-eyed monster for the greenery.
