When a hand-airbrushed wedding dress at a colorful forest wedding slayed us forever…
When a bride customizes her dress like this, we’ve got to bow down and give it props. Artist Taylor and her partner Christopher rocked a most colorful forest wedding in California for which we fell hard. Taylor made all of the bouquets and boutonnieres, centerpieces, and of course, airbrushed her own flippin’ wedding dress!
But the rest of it is just as creative and lovely. Her multi-hued hair in intricate braids, the rainbow flowers, the huge colored Jenga, her kick-ass wedding boots, and the cascading rainbow flower cake. It’s all making our day and dazzling our eyes. You just have to see it for yourself…
You won’t have seen anything like this rustic costume wedding with a pancake cake
Travis and Gia are both the adventurous and creative, so they planned a super DIYed rustic costume wedding with Halloween touches (one final hurrah for this season!) and a totally independent spirit. So there were kick-ass decorations incorporating pumpkins, costumes, rustic wood, hot pepper jelly favors, and a PANCAKE CAKE! Plus, I just can’t get over the awesomeness of Gia’s short green dress, tiny lace gloves, and birdcage veil. Oh, and don’t miss Travis’ general hotness in his killer tie.
Launch yourself into the magic of this enchanted forest wedding
Katy and Seth’s serene Redwood wedding at Stones and Flowers had magical fairy details that made it a seriously gorgeous enchanted forest wedding. Think fairy wings, a glowing forest setting, tiny fairy flower girls, seriously lush florals, and a cameo from a familiar forest creature in the background.
Fabulous kitsch reigns supreme at this Hollywood luau tiki wedding
Keely and Gunnar’s Hollywood luau tiki wedding killed it with style and awesome kitsch. They had already eloped in New Zealand, then returned to California for a tiki-tastic Polynesian-themed reception. The Hollywood sign was featured, of course, and Keely wore a vintage Hawaiian print wiggle dress, bamboo bangles, turquoise nails, a jade necklace, and a yellow orchid. If you’re in the mood for a mini brain holiday, you need to see this tiki wedding.
