Valerie and Noam wanted a traditional Jewish wedding that stayed true to their egalitarian, progressive, feminist, and planet-friendly values. With home-grown jade centerpieces, a blue wedding dress, a groom in an Indian sherwani, and a kosher, vegetarian meal, they created a wedding that reflected who they are and what they care about.

Verity is Canadian and Lucky is Mexican so they drew on their combined cultures for inspiration and ideas. Also, they had a budget to consider so they had to stick to the necessities. Expensive tent? Yes. Expensive dress? No. Florist? No. Mariachi band? Hell yes!
