Two ladies finally celebrate 20 years with a garden wedding in Utah
The Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City was the garden backdrop to this “big gay wedding.” They included their three children into all aspects of the day with movie soundtracks, a kids’ table, glow sticks, and more. Other highlights included their gourmet grilled cheese bar, ice sculptures (with the couple as Minions!), a LEGO cake for the kids, a cake inspired by album cover art, and loads of succulents.
Love notes at The House of Blues: This superhero wedding is asploding our hearts
Ashlee and Kace had a simple and intimate ceremony at the Rockefeller Greenhouse in Cleveland, ending the day with a night of dancing at the House of Blues Cleveland. Some of the wedding party wore navy dresses, while three rocked grey dress pants with suspenders and kick-ass superhero bow ties. Kace is a major superhero fan so keep an eye out for all those details, including the cake!
Rustic loveliness on a budget: a potluck wedding with oodles of style
The bride wore a chic pantsuit, the groom wore locs and paisley, and the DIYed rustic burlap details (including a chic as hell fabric flower bouquet!) are killer. This potluck wedding has so much style on so little budget. Oh, and just wait until you hear how the bride walked herself down the aisle. Spoiler alert: she SANG A SONG while she walked. Oh hell yes. Get ready to swoon at this amazing wedding.
You’ll swoon over how these ladies danced into their ceremony
Mary and Emily had been together for ten years waiting for gay marriage to be legalized. Three days after the ban was overturned, Mary called Emily’s mom to ask for her hand in marriage. Her mom’s response was, “Well, it’s about time.” Our favorite part was how they danced into the ceremony that ended with their guests forming a half circle around them. They then shared a dance before the ceremony started and another dance after.
