These two put a lot of thought into every aspect of the day — they designed their own outfits (including modifying purchased items when they couldn’t find what they were looking for) and combined their design and computing skills to create the bespoke invitations, stationery, and a website to match the theme. The Torpedo Factory was originally a factory used for making torpedos, but is now an art center, where Bernie had worked. Bernie infused her Chinese heritage into the decor, fashion, and entertainment (Chinese lion dancers!). But these two are also geeks of our own heart and had Star Wars and book-loving details on top of it all.
